Dr. Duane Jones followed his father's footsteps in dentistry and graduated from the University Of Washington School Of Dentistry in 1990. In August 1992 Dr. Jones and his father opened the Center for Advanced Dentistry in Federal Way, WA. Dr. Jones never stops learning and you'll seldom find him in town on the weekends. He is passionate about continuing education and a "multidisciplinary" approach in dentistry.

The unique feature of Dr. Jones practice is the special advanced training he received in TMD, sleep apnea and orofacial pain. His treatment philosophy for TMJ disorders is a conservative, non-surgical, nueromuscular, multidisciplinary approach that includes a variety of modalities in physical medicine. In addition, his state -of-the-art comprehensive diagnostics and other testing / treatment modalities separate his practice from others.

Dr. Jones was born in Vancouver, WA and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. He met his beautiful wife in dental school and they have three active children. Their two boys are avid hockey players and his daughter is passionate about ballet. He is a hockey enthusiast and he's either coaching hockey, playing hockey or at a hockey game. Dr. Jones knows no strangers. His easy going high energy personality will instantly make you feel like you've known him for years!

Amanda was professionally influenced by her mother, a dental hygienist for 15 years. She encouraged Amanda to pursue dental assisting and in 2002 Amanda became a Certified Dental Assistant. She loved the dental field and continued to grow professionally by graduating on the dean's list from Pierce College Dental Hygiene School in June 2005.

Amanda and Joshua married locally on Sept. 11, 2005 and their newest shared activity is warm water surfing (not in the Northwest). You'll often find her hiking on nearby trails and then indulging in her favorite Sushi or health food. She joined our team in the fall of 2005 and jumped at the chance to work with a doctor that has such a passion for treating the WHOLE patient, not just the teeth.

Caley is our lead dental assistant and has been a member of the Center for Advanced Dentistry team for 4 years. She graduated from the Renton Technical College dental assistant program in Oct. 2002 and has furthered her training with the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain and earned her certification in TMJ assistant.

In her free time Caley enjoys golfing, reading and spending quality time with her family and close friends. She likes to find humor in every situation and always has a smile on her face. Caley's favorite hang out is not Starbuck's, but Jamba Juice! Their smoothies make her an instant "morning" person!

Kristi is our Financial Coordinator. She joined our team in 1994, she is very passionate about the life-changing treatment Dr Jones provides our patients and is willing to go the extra mile to ensure that patients have a comfortable financing plan to complete the treatment they need and desire.

In her free time Kristi enjoys spending time with her family camping, boating, and cheering her daughters on in basketball, soccer, and fast pitch. "Pretty in pink" describes Kristi, she adores anything pink!

Sue has worked in the Dental Field for over 30 years. She was a chair side assistant for many years before moving to the administrative side of dentistry. In Sept 2002, she joined our office as an administrative assistant and our office has never been so organized! Sue finds the positive side of everything and just being around her is inspiring! She loves helping people and she believes one of her gifts is to serve others. In 1991 she took a sabbatical from dentistry that lasted 7 years. She owned and operated an Antique & Craft mail, which included a small restaurant. She participated in all the big shows, like Victorian Country Christmas and Christmas in Seattle.

Her three grown children are her pride and joy, and recently her youngest was married. Although Sue was raised in Seattle, Washington she makes her home in Federal Way. Her free time includes spending time with her dog Rusty, antiquing, camping, walking, reading, and staying involved with her church.
