How Will Massage Therapy Help BEFORE I See the Dentist?

Massage therapy can help RELAX your body and mind. Through
increased circulation in the oral tissues, massage can help
prepare the area for dental work.

How Will Massage Therapy Help AFTER Dental Work?

Massage therapy is very beneficial in the overall healing process. Massage therapy can REDUCE jaw/head/neck pain, muscle tension, spasms, headaches, TMJ swelling, and INCREASE mobility and range of motion for TMJ disorders.

Temperomandibular Joint Disorders (TMJ-D)

The Temperomandibular joints (TMJs), or the jaw joints, are made up of the Temporal bone of the skull and the Mandible, or lower jaw. TMJ disorders involve ligaments, tendons, nerves, and blood vessels. The TMJs move when we chew, talk, or even swallow. They are probably the most used joint in the body.

Injury and tension can often cause these joints to become misaligned. Jaw/head/neck pain and chronic headaches are common with TMJ disorders.
